May...oh busy May

May has been pretty much a whirlwind for us! Fun but a whirlwind. It started out with my Mom coming for a visit!! The boys soaked up as much Grama as humanly possible! I have a feeling Mom was a little tired when she left here...you see Mom had girls. Of course being as mild mannered and extremely well behaved we were(insert hysterical laughter here) she never had the pleasure of having BOYS. By the end of the week Mom was so good that she knew when Gracen had snuck into the kitchen to raid the fridge!! She would just say "Gracen" and he would screach with laughter and run guiltily from the kitchen! I hope you had fun Mom...I know we did!

Then came Papa...yes I did not mistype! My Dad is back on the farm with the Bybee family(my Dad will never retire)...and Clyde bought new pea harvesters and of course Dad and Matt have the joy of driving to the state of New York 4 times to pick them up!! But this last trip Dad had to drop off some military equipment in Pennsyvania! So we packed up the kids on Noah's birthday for a suprise. That's all they knew(see I can keep a secret). We got there about 10pm but Noah was still wide awake! I took him to the truck stop where I told him we just had to grab something and then we could get his surprise! We walked in and there was my DAD sitting at a table! Noah nearly passed out...he screamed "It's my PAPA"!!! and just ran. You couldn't untangle Noah from Papa for at least an hour, nor could you wipe the smile off! It was priceless. We were in Harrisburg PA, which some of you may know just so happens to be near Hershey PA. YES, the chocolate factory Hershey. I went there during my summer as a Nanny in Philly, so I made sure the park was open and we were off! Mother's day we spent the entire day at Hershey park. It was awesome!!! The kids(Papa and company included) had a blast. We even got the guys who were driving with Dad to come along. They rode rides, we went through the factory, ate chocolate(of course) and had a ball.

Last night was Rich's birthday and we suprised Daddy with presents, balloons and a fruit tart(you know these Marines...have to be healthy). Daddy scored a new coffee maker(vital, seriously) and a new wallet from the boys! The boys insisted Rich needed balloons, so they picked out the cutest dog balloon ever...it says "do I smell cake?" with this cute little dog with the huge nose! He was so suprised!! It was great!

All in all it has been a wonderful month, and it's not even over yet! We had another ultrasound for the new Farnsworth on his/her way. Nope we didn't get to see what it was, because the docs were more concerned with the fact that I have a complete placenta previa...which means that instead of attaching to the top of my uterus like it's supposed to the placenta attached at the bottom completely covering my cervix. Soooo we wait...the doc says the chances of it moving aren't that great BUT we still pray! I had both boys naturally...no drugs no nothing, so this is a bit of a shock for me. But if I get another healthy baby I could care less. So if it doesn't move I will have a c-section at 36 weeks. Since I have a history of early babies(Noah 35 wks/Gracen 36) they aren't messing around. I will have steriod injections around 30-32 weeks and then an amnio(shiver here) to check for lung maturity...then c-section! But the good news is unless something else happens, I will not be put on bedrest!! YEAHOOOO!!!! I was on bedrest with Gracen for 10 weeks and it was awful. Rich is headed to North Carolina on June 14th and will be there for 3 months. I don't know how I would manage with 2 ACTIVE boys, no hubby and bedrest!!! Yikes!! So hopefully all goes as planned.

Sorry to ramble...I need to update this thing more often. Maybe I wouldn't have to type so much at once! LOL!!! I hope all is well for everyone and we can't wait to see you guys in June!!!
