The boys on the lake!
The boys have begged me all summer to go fishin'...thanks Grama and Papa! ;) So when Rich got home he took the boys and they picked out fishing poles. Noah selected Superman and Gracen got a Batman pole and off we went to see what sort of damage we could do! There are many lakes here on the base and they are beautiful(and stocked with bass and all sorts of awesome fish). We went to a place called Smith Lake and the boys had a blast. The first day we forgot our worms...I know DAD...how could we go fishing and forget our worms! So we practiced...then on Sunday we remembered our worms and holy smokes! They have these things called green worms and YES they are green! And they "bleed" neon green! It's wild!! And the fish LOVE them! Noah likes casting but that's about it...he got bored with fishing really quickly. Gracen on the other hand will be the bass champion of the family I think. He loved it! So here are some pictures of our adventures on the lake!

Fishing is so much fun with kids. Especially whenthey actually catch oen all by themselves. I remember chad and I taking Charlie at Crow Butte and he casted, caught, and reeledin his first bass. Of course he didn't want anything to do with it once it was on shore lol, but it was a lot of fun. Can't wait to take my girls! Looks like you guys had a good day!
