Holden is here!!!

Sorry for the long delay in getting these pics posted, we have been so busy. Yup, it's true Holden is here at last! He has settled in very nicely and his older brothers think he is just peachy! Gracen loves him to pieces and Momma has become second fiddle(which is fine by me)! I love watching him kiss and love his little brother! Noah thinks Holden is "just precious" as he says. He has also been telling Holden "secrets"...heaven only know what he is saying to his littlest brother but it must be good because Holden isn't telling! ;) Mom and Dad were here for a whole week and we soaked them up. It's times like this that I want to move home and be in the center of the fam...but alas life and duty call from Washington DC. Mom...you completely spoiled Holden while you were here...I can barely put him down before he starts fussin' for Grama!! He thinks he should be held every moment! I must happily oblige the trend you started!! ;) Dad...your shadow sure misses you!! The big boys want to move to Grama and Papas!!

In case you didn't catch the stats...Holden was born on October 25th at 6:52 pm. He weighed 6lbs 13oz and was 21 1/4 inches long. Our labor and deliver was FABULOUS!!!! I got everything I hoped for and more. Once we arrived at the hospital it only took about 3 hours for him to be born. Labor went quickly and easily! I got to reach down and pull him out(once his shoulders were out) and bring him to my chest. It was amazing...I can't even find words fitting for that moment!! He stayed with me on my chest for a good 45 minutes before they cleaned him up and did the typical newborn checks! Truely a moment I will never forget!
